Baby Leg Warmers

First, I apologize for the blurry photo, it was taken on a cell phone.

I’ve been putting this project off for at least 3 weeks but last night I sat down and in 10 minutes was done. So why did I put it off? I have no idea. This is my second pair so maybe the thrill of working on something new was gone.?? But in any case, I’m told by the friend I made these for that if you have a baby you must have some. They look cute, keep her little girl warm, knees protected while crawling, and most importantly, they making changing her diaper so much easier.. no clothes to strip off and then put back on. Also, girls a little older also think they’re cool as arm bands. Here’s a tutorial…

A pair of socks

You cut them here

Fold the sole portion in two and fit it over the main sock piece. You should have 3 layers, 2 from the folded sole and 1 from the main sock piece.

Pin and sew together with a zigzag stitch… make sure you catch all 3 layers

Done.

What a clever idea. Knee-hi socks are really not in fashion, but this is the most clever way of using them that I have ever seen. Thanks!
