My Reason…

Will Rogers once said “Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save.” Well, fortunately for me, I’ve found something to do with any extra time that I might save and that’s: sewing, crafting, embroidering, quilting, knitting, crocheting.. When it comes to making things you name it and I probably love to do it. My grandmother first taught me to embroidery at the age of 10 and I’ve pretty much been making things since that time. For the most part, that’s what this blog is for; to document the things I make..though you’ll find that I often stop to share other little pieces of me. As you look around please ignore any misspellings or unfortunate grammar issues (there will be plenty). I write for a living but I writeth for thine ear, not thine eye. I hope you’ll find something of interest here at Goosie Girl’s. Please leave me a comment, it makes my day! Thanks for stopping in!

I love the blog. You are so talented. Your house was gorgeous during the holidays and I particulary love the Luke 11 ornament.

I love the Baby Shoe Pattern and the leg warmers. I’m going to try a pair for my granddaughter. You are very talented (and you complete stuff).

  3. Thank you.. but I’m just an amateur. I keep trying though because it’s fun. & if you could see the stuff laying around my house you might just take that “complete stuff” comment back. 🙂 Thanks for looking!! – Renee

You’re a blogger! and a real crafter! I am just now learning how to work my Iphone.
I love the picture with your daughter, dog and fish. It’s beautiful.

  5. Trust me, I’m no techno girl.. I still have a tracfone (stop laughing). I started this little blog because I had a young friend who pressured me. I prefer to look over actually doing it. But, thanks for the blog love.

Now my turn, where can I find pics of your hubby and kids?

  6. Hi! I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award :] You don’t have to feel obligated, but it’s a pretty cool tradition for up-and-coming bloggers! You can find it here:
