Learning To Knit Socks – Part I

Uhhh, I don’t think so.

It’s twisted.. twice! I know it’s blurry but can you see them? Grrr! And this is actually my second try.. the first was far worse…far worse, I tell ya.

  1. I remember struggling with my DPNs as well when I started out knitting with them in the round. If I find the knitting to be a bit too wobbly, I start out knitting the first couple of rows flat and then transfer to DPNs. Sure, it means I have a couple of stitches I have to sew at the end, but I have to fasten that loose end anyways, right?

    Good luck!

  2. I don’t see the twisted, but I don’t knit. Well, I actually know one stitch (my Mom taught me)and I started making a scarf. It has been in a temporary deep freeze (since January). I think I am more comfortable with a crochet hook than , or tatting needle than knitting needles though! Just keep going even though your unhappy with the way it is turning out. You learn from your mistakes!
