I love how this turned out! And the best part.. it only cost me $2.67. Yea!! Much cheaper than taking a pottery class. I found the stencil online, cut it out, traced it on the plate with a sharpie, then painted it. The whole process took me less than 30 minutes. Easy, fun, & oh so cute!
If you wanted to go a little more elegant..the layout in picture two would be nice if you included Matthew 6:26.. which says: “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
When I do the next one I will definitely use an ultra fine point sharpie for more defined lines..instead of the huge one in the picture. And, when I’m completely finished with all the plates that I’m going to do, I might spray a clear coat over them so that I can clean them easily.
